LET'S Build a World Where All Youth Are Safe, Strong & Valued
Who We Are
RESCUE WING INTERNATIONAL (RWI) is a young but vibrant a Not-for Profit Organization incorporated in 2020 with the Vision ‘to see each HOME with Safety and Dignity.
The Rescue Mission is ”Walking shoulder by shoulder with Women, Young Girls and Children across the globe” by protecting their rights and supporting them to reach their dreams through relevant educational training programs, livelihood skills training together with socioeconomic empowerment and psychosocial supports schemes.
RESCUE WING INTERNATIONAL (RWI) has been very active in 5 but present in 11 countries since incorporation in 2020. Officially, RWI-Ghana is the legal mother organization though the vision was idealized by Mr. Erick Aloise Josue in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya during the COVID lockdowns. During the Lockdowns, Erick found that the plight of women and children were becoming worse and so he initiated an online awareness and support campaign. The initiative was to provide safety and general support to the victims of those circumstances towards preserving their natural Dignities.

Our partnership connections d
At Rescue Wing International, we are proud to collaborate with a diverse range of partners who share our commitment to making a positive impact on the world. Through these valued partnerships, we have been able to achieve greater reach and effectiveness in our mission.
We extend our gratitude to the following organizations, businesses, and individuals who have supported us in our efforts:
The partnership between Recue Wing and Connection Ubuntu dates back to 2020 when it begun from Kenyan
on f our refugee camp projects. Most refugee girls were trained with ICT skill since then. Ubuntu then
expanded the partnership to the Ghana Brach in the year under review and was our main donor in the year.
Results from the partnership has been splendid, amazing and expanding.
Like Ubuntu, global change makers begun work with us in most of our online advocacy programs since 2020.
Online events and educative lectures about the SDGs were sponsored by GLOBAL CHANGE MAKERS
HELP US BUILD A SIX UNIT STANDARD CLASSROOM FOR THE CHILDREN AT MEYIKPOR BASIC SCHOOL – ADIDOME, V/R
Your kindness is huge and appreciated
My names are Vanessa Esianyo Agyemang. I am a Girls Club Member of the Kukurantumi RC Basic Schools in the Ghana. As a girl child, learning has been made quite easier for me through the installation of the ICT gadgets like laptops, Wi-Fi router and printer in our school. There are several circumstances hindering access to comfortable learning particularly for us teenage girls in rural areas. One of such is the fear of going long distances to have access to commercial computer centers and/or internet cafes to do our practical assignments. Due to our gender and physiological states,
there has been high potentials of being bused or harassed at those centers. One respite that the installation of the lab has brought to us (as girls) is that; we learn, practice and go online to read about our home works in the comfort of the secure school premises under responsible supervision.
On behalf of my colleagues in the school, particularly the other 90 girls in the STEM GIRLS CLUB, I want to thank RESCUE WING INTERNATIONAL and their donors for accepting to renovate and install our ICT laboratory. This is what we have been praying for over a long time.
We will also appeal to you consider expanding it because we are more that the laptops and will also ask that
similar thing will be given to other schools and girls that RESCUE WING is working with.
SOME OF OUR IMPACTS
Rescue Wing Educational Support Fund
We have established the educational support fund to be able to take care of all or part of the educational needs (OFFICIAL BILLS) of learners who we have identified to be in actual need of
support to be able to complete their scheduled courses of instruction in. Beginning from January 2024, we have been able to support up to 12 student at various levels of education with a minimum of GHc1000.00 (About USD 100). During the needs assessment, 80 to 85% of female beneficiaries are considered.
Rescue Wing Livelihood Skills Development Centers
Currently, were are in the process of setting up Livelihood Skills Training Centers as part our goals for 2024. These centers will train mainly young women in the skills and handiworks that will earn them decent living to be able to take care of their families and dependents. At the start, there will be 2 main units but will operate from three centers:
A) Fashion Design Unit- Ablekuma Awoshie- Accra
B) ICT Skills, Repairs and Secretariats – Kukurantumi- Abuakwa North
C) Fashion Design Unit- Tentative (Salaga- North East Region)
Set up has begun as we have just received 30 various sewing machines from our partners
from Netherlands. Updates will be rolling on the news and blogs tab of this site soon. Stay
